Keystone Computer
Terms
These terms govern the sale of Keystone hardware, the license to the Alexandria software, and access to the services that support them. They form a contract between you and Keystone Context Computer, Inc.
Last updated 26 July 2026
1.Who you are contracting with
Keystone Context Computer, Inc., trading as Keystone Computer (“Keystone”, “we”, “us”), designs, manufactures and integrates enterprise intelligence appliances, and licenses the Alexandria software that runs on them. “You” means the organization that buys, licenses, or uses them.
Keystone Context Computer, Inc. is the contracting party on every order, invoice and license, and is the entity these terms are made with. Keystone Computer is the name the business trades under.
Where you and Keystone have signed a separate purchase agreement, order form, or statement of work, that document governs and these terms fill the gaps. Where a term conflicts, the signed document wins.
2.Orders, delivery and commissioning
Servers are quoted and ordered individually. Prices shown on this site or in a briefing are indicative until confirmed in a written quotation, and a quotation is an invitation to order, not an offer we are bound to accept. An order becomes binding when we accept it in writing.
Alexandria servers are delivered, installed and commissioned. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the address on the order. Commissioning is complete when the server is running in your perimeter and has passed its acceptance checks.
Prices exclude taxes, duties, customs charges and import levies, which are yours to pay. You are responsible for the site: power, cooling, rack space, network, and any physical access we need to install and service the machine.
3.Software license
The Alexandria software is licensed, not sold. Subject to these terms and to payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run the software on the Keystone hardware it was supplied with, for your own internal business purposes, for as long as your license is in effect.
The full terms of that license are set out in the Alexandria Software License Agreement, published at keystone.computer/license: what a Keystone license file entitles you to, how metered model use works, and what the software’s output is. This section summarizes it; that agreement governs the software itself.
You agree not to:
- sublicense, resell, rent, or provide the software to third parties as a service, except to your own affiliates and contractors acting for you and bound to these terms;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice, license file, or brand mark;
- circumvent licensing, metering, or entitlement controls, or share license credentials outside your organization;
- use the software to develop a competing product.
We retain all intellectual property rights in the hardware designs, the software, and our documentation. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it to you.
4.Your data stays yours
You own everything your organization puts into Alexandria and everything its agents produce: the vault, its files, its history, and the work product. We claim no ownership of it and no license to it.
Alexandria is built so that we do not need access to it. The vault lives on storage you own, inside your perimeter. We do not receive a copy of it in the ordinary course of running the product, and we do not use your content to train models. How the narrow exceptions work is set out in the Privacy notice: support sessions you invite us into, and the metadata created when you route work to frontier models.
5.Model access and the gateway
Alexandria can run open-weight models on the server’s own GPUs, or route work to frontier models through the Keystone gateway. The choice is yours, per agent and per task.
When you route through the gateway, your requests are relayed to third-party model providers. Their acceptable-use policies apply to that traffic in addition to these terms, and their availability is not something we control. Keystone sells product functionality; it does not resell raw access to any provider’s models.
Gateway access is metered and subject to the budgets and rate limits attached to your keys. We may suspend a key without notice where it is being used abusively, where it appears compromised, or where an account is materially overdue, and we will tell you when we do.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to use Alexandria or the gateway to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- generate or distribute material that sexually exploits children, incites violence, or harasses people;
- develop weapons, or conduct surveillance that violates applicable law;
- attack, probe, or degrade the gateway, another tenant, or any third-party system;
- misrepresent AI-generated output as human-authored where doing so would deceive someone to their detriment.
You are responsible for what your users and your agents do with the system, and for the instructions and data you put into it.
7.What AI output is, and is not
Language models are probabilistic. Alexandria can produce output that is wrong, incomplete, out of date, or confidently mistaken, and it can misread the material it is given. This is a property of the technology, not a defect we can engineer away.
Output is not legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice. Keep a human in the loop for consequential decisions, and review output before you rely on it, publish it, or act on it. You remain responsible for decisions your organization makes, whether or not an agent contributed to them.
8.Availability and support
The server runs in your building, so it does not depend on us to keep working. The gateway does, and we do not commit to an uptime figure for it unless a signed agreement says otherwise. The status page is published for information and is not a service-level commitment.
Support, maintenance windows, response targets and software updates are as described in your order documentation. We may change, improve, or discontinue features over time; where a change would materially reduce functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
9.Warranty
We warrant that the hardware will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship, and that the software will perform substantially as documented, for the warranty period stated in your order documentation. Every server is individually tested before it ships.
This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, use outside the documented operating conditions, or anything caused by hardware or software we did not supply. Your remedy is repair or replacement of the affected part, or a refund of what you paid for it, at our option.
Except as stated in this section, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the hardware, software and services are provided “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, even if advised that they were possible.
Each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is capped at the amounts you paid to Keystone under the relevant order in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Because some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, parts of this section may not apply to you.
11.Confidentiality
Each party may learn confidential information about the other. Each agrees to protect it with at least reasonable care, to use it only to perform under these terms, and not to disclose it except to people who need it and are bound to equivalent obligations. This does not cover information that is public through no fault of the recipient, was already known, or is independently developed, and it does not prevent disclosure required by law.
12.Term, termination and export
Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within thirty days of written notice. On termination of a license, you stop using the software; the hardware remains yours. Sections that by their nature should survive do so: ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, governing law.
You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws, and confirm you are not located in, or acting for anyone in, an embargoed jurisdiction or on a restricted-party list.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with the date it was last updated. Material changes take effect for existing customers at the start of the next renewal or order, and we will give reasonable notice of them. Continuing to use the software after a change takes effect means you accept it.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in New York County, New York. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
